We were running our own OSINT investigations across multiple portfolio companies and got tired of stitching together Pitchbook, LexisNexis, Hunter, SecurityTrails, and a part-time analyst. So we built the federation layer. Then the citation gate. Then the report templates. Eighteen months later, we have 184 production services running, 315k documents indexed in a proprietary RAG, 17 federated data sources, and a verification gate that strips uncited claims at synthesis time.
Today we are opening this platform to other sophisticated researchers: boutique law firms, family offices, mid-market PE, fintech fraud teams, and retained executive search firms. The math works at 76% gross margin. The product works because we used it on ourselves first.
